Sons Of Africa Plant Hire was founded by the well-known and much-loved Louis Trichardt business couple, Anthony Scott and his wife Norma, who died tragically in a motor vehicle accident in January this year. Many will remember Ant [as he was known by many] and Norma as the owners of Ant Scott Plumbing, Manasi Civils, and Sons of Africa. Having established an enviable reputation for ethical and honest business practices over the years, Anthony and Norma built Sons Of Africa into SA’s leading plant hire company and a peerless manufacturer and supplier of curbing and concrete edging.
Patrick Scott - Joint CEO
Having worked in the business for many years, Patrick is an experienced Operations Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the machinery industry. He is skilled in Operations Management, Maintenance Management, Hydraulics, Inspection, and Construction. This strong operations professional has a Technical qualification focused in Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technology/Technician from Cat University.
Benjie Scott - Joint CEO
Benjie is old school when it comes to honesty and ethics. He always puts the customer first and will go the extra mile whenever needed. Having grown up in the world of construction, Benjie's knowledge of the plant hire equipment and business is extensive as is his knowledge of curbing and concrete edging.
